Getting there

Casale de’ Pasquinelli
Via per San Pietro 34, Lucca, Italy

Whilst we have been planning our dream wedding, we have been mindful to make it as guest-centric as possible. Meaning, we want out guests to enjoy every moment of the weekend and take any stress away.

Casale De Pasquinelli is located just a 45-minute drive from Pisa International Airport making it a convenient option, especially for those flying from Manchester, which offers direct flights. These flights are typically released exactly one year in advance and are approximately £110 per person.

We highly recommend booking flights early to get the best availability and pricing.

Pisa is the closest airport to the venue, just a 45 minute drive or a 30 minute train to Lucca. It's a great option for convenience, and also worth a short visit to see the famous Leaning Tower and stroll through the charming old town.

Pisa International Airport

Florence is about 1 hour from the venue by car, or around 2 hours by train to Lucca. As the birthplace of the Renaissance, it’s a beautiful city to explore before or after the wedding—think art, architecture, and world-class gelato.

Florence Airport - Amerigo Vespucci Airport

Rome is roughly a 3.5-hour drive from the venue, or around 3 hours by train. to Lucca. If you're planning a longer stay, it's a great place to soak up iconic sights like the Colosseum, Vatican City, and Trevi Fountain before heading north.

Getting around

Car Hire
We recommend renting a car as the venue is located in a remote, rural area and having your own transport will give you the freedom to explore the beautiful Tuscan countryside at your own pace.

Car rental services are easily available at Pisa International Airport (Galileo Galilei Airport), with a wide range of vehicles to suit different needs and budgets. Don’t forget to bring a valid driver’s license and any necessary documentation. As a general guide, car hire costs around £80 for a weekend or £120 for a week. We usually use Booking.com for car rental and have found it reliable and easy to navigate.

Shuttle Service
We are considering providing a shuttle service from a central point in Lucca for the key events: the Welcome Party, Wedding Day, and Pool Party, depending on how many guests require it. Please let us know in your RSVP if you would like to use the shuttle service (especially if you're not staying at the main accommodation).

Taxi Service
Uber isn’t widely available in Tuscany, so taxis are the best option for short local trips. We recommend downloading appTaxi before you arrive in Italy, it’s a handy way to book rides throughout your stay.
